Product Description
Following are Uses of Shankpushpi Powder:1. Anti-wrinkle
Wrinkles are due to aging, dry skin and lack of moisture. According to Ayurveda, it is due to an aggravated Vata. Shankhpushpi oil helps in controlling wrinkles and increases moisture content in the skin. It also helps to reduce degeneration of skin cells and works as anti-aging due to its Rasayana (rejuvenating) property.
Tips:
a. Take 1/2 - 1 teaspoon Shankhpushpi powder.
b. Add honey and apply to face and neck.
c. Wait for at least 20-30 minutes.
d. Wash it with cool plain water.
2. Acne
A Kapha-Pitta dosha skin type can be prone to acne and pimples. According to Ayurveda, an aggravation of Kapha increases sebum production which clogs the pores. This results in the formation of both white and blackheads. An aggravation of Pitta also causes red papules (bumps) and inflammation with pus. Applying Shankhpushpi helps to control acne. It prevents excess sebum production, removes clogging of pores and reduces inflammation. This is because of its Ropan (healing) and Sita (cold) nature.

3. Premature greying and hair growth
Shankhpushpi prevents premature greying, controls hair fall and promotes hair growth due to its Rasayana (rejuvenating) property.
Tips:
a. Take few drops of Shankhpushpi Powder in Coconut Oil.
b. Massage evenly on the scalp and hair.
c. Repeat this to control premature greying of hair and hair fall.
